Maybe you’ve been thinking about a grand entrance to your wedding reception with a choreographed routine to your favorite song. Or perhaps you’re just hoping to get through the night without tripping on each other.
Whatever you envision for your first public appearance on the dance floor as a married duo, our mission is to help you achieve it. Perhaps you don’t even have a vision yet – and that’s okay, too. We’ll work with you to figure out what you want – and have time – to learn. Rather than adding one more thing to stress about before the big day, we promise that your dance lessons will be a chance to forget about the pressure and just focus on expressing your love for each other.
Our lessons are also great for other members of the bridal party. We’ll be happy to help you polish up your father-daughter or mother-son dance, choreograph a group routine for your bridal party or just teach you some fun moves for the reception.
Private lessons: $70 per hour (for 1-2 people). We recommend starting with hour-long sessions, but you may also pro-rate for longer or shorter lessons. Small-group rates are also available if you’d like to take lessons along with another couple or other family members — simply email us for a quote.
Date Night Special: $499 for eight, hour-long lessons. Use them to prep for your wedding or just for a series of date nights.
Choreography: $250 for a customized routine (up to 4 minutes long) that suits both your song and your dance style. Whether you want to sweep across the floor in an elegant waltz or get guests clapping along to an upbeat hip-hop duet, or perhaps a mash-up of multiple songs, we’ll put together the moves to make an unforgettable first dance. We choreograph the routine on our own time so you can focus on learning the steps during lessons. If you don’t like any of the moves we come up with, we’ll rework those for no additional charge.
Choreography Package: $599 for a choreographed routine plus five, 1-hour private lessons to learn and polish your dance. *Please note that we need at least a week of lead time to choreograph in order to have the routine ready by your first lesson.
Gift Certificates: Ballroom Bliss gift certificates may be used just like cash toward any of our services. Simply head to our sister company’s online store to customize your gift. Choose whatever amount you like, add a personalized note and select the date you’d like your gift to be emailed directly the recipient.
Schedule as many lessons as you need at your convenience at any of our three locations:

- Midtown — 1301 Locust St. 2nd Floor*
- Rittenhouse — 1624 South St.*

Dorrance Street is a residential studio that is only used for private lessons so it is available daytime, early and late evenings and weekends.
Ready to get started?
Email firstname.lastname@example.org with a few potential dates and times that work for you, and we’ll get back to you in 48 hours or less!
As part of the booking process, you’ll also need to set up a profile on our online schedule, shared with our sister company. Please be sure to include a mobile number (for a text reminder the day before the lesson) and billing info (in case of a late cancelation fee, which hopefully won’t be necessary!) You may also purchase lessons or packages through the online portal if you wish.
